Objective
Canadian Blood Services is working hard to broaden its blood and stem cell donors before the summer is over. The “Summer of Life” campaign aims to bring the donation process closer to the community, making it easier for potential donors to participate.
This summer, the campaign visited key festivals in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including the Pan American Food and Music Festival, Taste of The Danforth, and TD Markham Jazz Festival. Pop-up booths offered free giveaways, on-site swabbing for the stem cell registry and encouraged attendees to schedule blood donations.
Booth renderings and summer icons were created for the campaign. I drew inspiration from them and adapted these designs into various visual assets, including a foldable handout, sunglasses postcard, event map, social media templates, and the website.
